The Crescendo Summer Institute offers one of the most complete and competitive summer voice programs in Europe. Outstanding teachers give masterclasses, private voice lessons, coachings, repertoire and diction classes, solo and choral singing in a cantata, instruction in stage movement, acting, dance, and body interpretation and opera workshop. Additionally, teachers are available to discuss career and life decisions facing the singer on the verge of a career.
Talented singers are welcome to apply from the undergraduate (bachelor) level to emerging professional. Young singers will mainly focus on song repertoire, while advanced singers are also welcome in the opera program. Admission to the program is granted only to singers who demonstrate a high level of talent and development commiserate with his or her age.
Students are encouraged to bring sacred repertoire ready to perform in numerous church services as well as secular repertoire.

Possible courses of study:

Upon acceptance, singers will be sent a survey form where they will indicate repertoire to be studied, possible opera scenes, sacred songs ready to be performed, and a choice of song repertoire, opera workshop, or Pierrot Lunaire.
All singers must submit recordings with their application (even those who have attended before).
Those who apply to CSI are required to upload an mp3 format recording through the online application with three songs or arias in at least two different languages. To audition for the opera scenes workshop, please upload your mp3 audition material of three pieces and attach a detailed CV.
